Bladder Cancer
In November 1998, I noticed blood in my urine and went to
a urologist for a diagnosis. Under general anesthesia, I underwent
an examination of the urethra, during which a tumor was discovered
and excised for analysis. This proved to be the source of
blood in the urine, and I was diagnosed with transitional
cell carcinoma, a cancer for which, if it reappeared, the
outlook was not good. The literature suggests that this type
of cancer has a 75 percent chance of recurring. [read

Prostate Cancer
I was undergoing a routine physical in October 1999. My PSA
(prostate-specific antigen) test was normal, but my internist
suspected that my prostate gland was too large and recommended

Psoriasis
I went to Paracelsus because I had suffered from horrible
psoriasis since the age of 11. I used to have four-inch raised
scaly patches covering both elbows, extending down my forearms.
