Macular Degeneration of the Retina and Papillary Dysplasia
of the Optic Nerve
Although papillary dysplasia of the optic nerve, or the more frequent macular degeneration of the retina, have different causes, they are principally degenerative diseases, and are very often related to a genetically determined lack of activity of the granulocytes, cells that are supposed to “eat away” the smallest plaques on the arteries of the retina. The remedies normally given, such as vitamin A, Gingko, and aspirin or Trental, are old-fashioned and irregularly effective. There are better approaches to micro-circulation than Trental and more effective plant treatment approaches than only Gingko.

Here at Paracelsus, we have good long term results in macular or retinal dysplasia, which is often also called “optic nerve dysplasia”. Many patients have experienced an increase of their vision, and many more have had the degenerative progress stopped.

The nerves need the following treatment to rebuild structure and maintain function:

 Phospholipids in high doses (unsaturated fatty acids, according to individual blood analysis)

 Intensive anti-oxidative treatment (removing oxygen-radicals)
•
 Good granulocyte function (interleukin and mistletoe, which activates the leukocytes)

 Specific high doses of trace elements and vitamins

 Individual hyperthermia (Indiba), which increases the oxygen intake and the quality of the internal environment

 Increasing the regenerative forces by training the parasympathetic nervous system, a treatment that is very important in all degenerative nerve diseases

 The Eye Neural Therapy of Dr. Rau and Dr. Braid: homeopathic and isopathic remedies administered on the classical periorbital acupuncture points
•
 Chronic nerve-degenerating viruses are often present in a slow form, for which we test, and which we drain with individual Paracelsus nosode drops
•
 Parasympathetic stimulation (lowers micro-arteriosclerosis), which we increase with colon hydrotherapy, specific reflorisation, and Wilhelm Reich’s Orgon treatment administered locally and systemically
< div align="right">• Genetic testing: new methods, only performed at the Paracelsus Clinic. We test the presence of antioxidative enzymes and leukotrienes, which stimulate the white blood cells to “clean” the arteries

 Heavy metal and organic neurotoxin cleansing. We also test the detoxification pathways, because heavy metals are the worst nerve-degenerators. The Paracelsus Clinic provides the most modern and intense heavy metal detoxification methods

 Essential amino acids are lacking in most cases. They are extremely important for rebuilding tissue. Our unique combination of amino acids feed new cells and increase regenerative metabolism

Initial treatments take place at the Paracelsus Clinic, and take two or three weeks. Subsequent treatment is done at home over many years, because the rebuilding of nerves is extremely slow.
